Fresh salsas
We start with sourcing the best quality tomatoes available. Ripe tomatoes are necessary for good tasting salsa, from reputable growers that meet our standards.
We use all natural ingredients with no additives, artificial colours or flavours. All ingredients are prepared by hand from chopping onions, peeling garlic and juicing lemons, to plucking coriander leaves and mashing avocadoes. Fresh lemon juice is a natural preservative and all salsas are gluten-free and dairy-free.
Ingredients are always combined in small batches to maintain quality and flavour. Large volume batches generally produce “watered down” salsa which, ultimately, produce an inferior product.
You don’t need to consume your salsa within a few days of opening. Use the best before date as the guide. We use a cooking process to stabilise the shelf life, and all our products are shelf-life tested in a food lab.
Burritos
When you try any of our hand-rolled frozen burritos, you will taste real food inside. We use real, flavourful and nutrient-dense ingredients to make our burrito fillings.
In the tradition of authentic Mexican cuisine, the black beans, pinto beans and Spanish rice are cooked from scratch. The burrito salsa is made using the same process as our fresh salsa range.
All our burrito fillings are gluten-free, however we use flour tortillas which are not gluten-free.
Ingredients
Where we can, we source ingredients locally within Australia. We use Victorian produce when in season, interstate produce at other times of the year.
Our salsas use a small number of imported ingredients that aren’t locally available in Australia year-round – dried habanero chilis, dried chipotle chilis and tomatillos.
We are committed to preparing the highest quality product.
